PEBO 的故事The PEBO Story
PEBO 的名字來自一個人和一隻狗：「佩」是創辦人佩佩，「波」是她的長毛吉娃娃 Bolita。PEBO comes from one person and one dog. "Pe" is for our founder, Pei Pei. "Bo" is for Bolita, a long-haired Chihuahua.
一個人，一隻狗One Person, One Dog
疫情開始後，創辦人沒辦法離開泰國。她和朋友從曼谷一路騎單車到清邁。回到曼谷後，她在狗市場遇見了 Bolita，把牠帶回家，從此開始一人一狗的生活。When the pandemic began, our founder could not leave Thailand. She and her friends rode bikes all the way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Back in Bangkok, she found Bolita at a dog market and took the little dog home. From then on, it was one person and one dog.
疫情期間，她和朋友帶著 Bolita，到泰國龜島住了一段時間。During the pandemic, she and her friends also lived on Koh Tao, an island in Thailand, for a while with Bolita.
替 Bolita 訂做的衣服Clothes Made for Bolita
回到曼谷後，創辦人常帶 Bolita 去公園，跟當地的狗狗一起玩。她發現很多泰國狗狗穿的是量身訂做的衣服，就開始認識狗狗的訂製衣服，也替 Bolita 訂做了一件。她把照片分享給台灣的朋友，開始有人想買。Back in Bangkok, our founder often took Bolita to the park to play with local dogs. She saw that many Thai dogs wore clothes made just for them. She learned more about custom dog clothes and had an outfit made for Bolita. She shared the photos with friends in Taiwan, and people started asking to buy one.
隔離的七天Seven Days in Quarantine
疫情快結束時，創辦人三年來第一次回到台灣。在飯店隔離的七天裡，她一直在想：接下來要做什麼？隔離一結束，她就去註冊了 PEBO。這就是 PEBO 的開始。Near the end of the pandemic, our founder went home to Taiwan for the first time in three years. During seven days of hotel quarantine, she kept asking herself: what's next? Right after quarantine, she registered PEBO. That was how PEBO began.
在泰國南部，和師傅一起做Working with a Maker in Southern Thailand
一開始，PEBO 只在網路上經營。創辦人回到泰國，在龜島住了快半年，之後搬到泰國南部一位手作師傅家附近住了好幾個月，每天和師傅一起工作，做出了胸背衣、甜甜圈等商品，也認識了師傅的家人。At first, PEBO was only online. Our founder went back to Thailand and lived on Koh Tao for almost half a year. Then she moved near a maker's home in southern Thailand for several months. They worked together every day, made harnesses, donut collars and more, and she got to know the maker's family.
PEBO 的第一間工作室，就在這位師傅家的廚房裡，這也是師傅的第一間工作室。PEBO's first studio was in this maker's kitchen. It was the maker's first studio, too.
另外，PEBO 也是一個泰國手作品牌的台灣獨家代理，把泰國師傅的手藝帶到台灣。PEBO is also the only Taiwan agent for a handmade brand from Thailand, bringing Thai craft to Taiwan.
回到台灣Back in Taiwan
之後，創辦人和 Bolita 搬回台灣，開始參加寵物展，PEBO 在台灣真正開始了，也在台灣成立了工作室。前幾年，PEBO 主要賣泰國師傅做的商品。Later, our founder and Bolita moved back to Taiwan and started joining pet shows. That was when PEBO really began in Taiwan, and PEBO set up a studio here. In the first few years, PEBO mainly sold products made by makers in Thailand.
模組化胸背衣：在泰國開始，在台灣完成The Modular Harness: Started in Thailand, Finished in Taiwan
2025 年，創辦人又回到泰國師傅家附近，想出了模組化胸背衣。第一個版型在泰國誕生，由泰國師傅製作。但兩地距離太遠，很多地方沒辦法馬上調整，所以她在台灣也找了一位手作師傅，一起調版。2026 年，PEBO 在台灣開了手作室，大部分的商品也移回台灣製作。In 2025, our founder went back to the maker's home in Thailand and came up with the modular harness. The first pattern was made there by the Thai maker. But they were too far apart to make changes quickly, so she found a maker in Taiwan to work on the pattern with her. In 2026, PEBO opened a sewing room in Taiwan, and most of our products are now made in Taiwan.
模組化胸背衣的胸背、裙子、領巾等配件可以自由替換，並取得台灣獨家專利（第 M678936 號）。中國專利也已提出申請，目前申請中。You can mix and match the harness, skirts, bandanas and other parts. The design holds Taiwan Patent No. M678936. We have also applied for a patent in China.
和 PEBO 合作的師傅，不論在泰國還是台灣，都是一邊在家照顧家人，一邊工作。All the makers who work with PEBO, in Thailand and in Taiwan, work from home while caring for their families.
Bolita 和 AndorBolita and Andor
Bolita 和 Andor 都是長毛吉娃娃，也是 PEBO 的店狗。Bolita 跟著創辦人從泰國來到台灣；Andor 是回台灣後才加入的，牠的爸爸媽媽也來自泰國。Bolita and Andor are both long-haired Chihuahuas and PEBO's shop dogs. Bolita came with our founder from Thailand to Taiwan. Andor joined the family after we moved back to Taiwan, and Andor's parents also came from Thailand.
邁入第五年Our Fifth Year
PEBO 在 2022 年 1 月正式成立，2026 年邁入第五年。PEBO 的商品，由台灣和泰國的手作師傅一件一件縫製，少量製作。PEBO was founded in January 2022, and 2026 is our fifth year. Our products are sewn one by one, in small batches, by makers in Taiwan and Thailand.
接下來，PEBO 希望把模組化胸背衣帶到更多國家。Next, we hope to bring the modular harness to more countries.
